Time-to-hire (TTH) measures the number of days from publishing the job offer (or from accepting the recruitment request) to the time the selected candidate accepts the job offer. It differs from time-to-fill, which measures the time until the actual start of work.
Time-to-hire = Date the candidate accepts the offer − Date recruitment started
Benchmarks:
The average time-to-hire in Europe is around 25–40 days depending on the field and position. Technical positions (IT, engineering) tend to have a longer TTH (40–60 days), administrative or manual positions a shorter one (10–20 days).
